Blomidon Provincial Park
Blomidon
Rising majestically from the shores of the Minas Basin, Blomidon Provincial Park is renowned for its spectacular views. Blomidon's 759 ha (1,875 acres) include 180 m (600 ft.) high cliffs, a variety of habitats, striking natural features, abundant wildlife -- and the world's highest tides wash its shores. These natural attractions provide excellent opportunities for camping, hiking, beachcombing, photography or just appreciating nature.

Hennigar's Farm Park and Trail

In your travels through the lovely Annapolis Valley, Hennigar's duck pond and picnic area is a restful place to stop. Your children can play in the sandbox, look at the bunnies and peacocks, or feed the turtles, ducks, goats and pigs.

Cape Split Trail

Cape Split is a great hike to a spectacular view of one of Nova Scotia's most famous rock formations.
This can be a long walk for the un-experienced hiker, but it is well worth the trip.

Valleyview Provincial Park offers a quiet woodland setting overlooking the Annapolis Valley. The park is within easy travelling distance of the Fundy Coast and communites along Route 1.
